Stroke Session 14 Saudi Neuroscience Symposium March 14, 2006, 9:45 am - 12:30 pm Kingdom Towers, Riyadh

The group organized the stroke session during the 14th Saudi Neuroscience Symposium in March 2006. The program contained 2 parts. The first part was chaired by Dr. Zuheir Al-Kawi and Prof. Saad Al-Rajeh, where the following lectures were given:

1. Stroke and Sleep, Prof. Antonio Culebras (USA)

2. Intracerebral Hemorrhage, Waleed Khoja (Saudi Arabia)

3. Brain imaging in Saudis with Stroke, Ass. Prof. Sattam Lingawi (Saudi Arabia)

4. Stroke in Saudi Children, Prof. Mustafa Salih (Saudi Arabia)

Part 2 was an interactive session on thrombolysis and was moderated by Dr Waleed Khoja, in the presence of a panel of experts, including:

• Prof. Saad Al-Rajih (Saudi Arabia)

• Dr. Zuheir Al-Kawi (Saudi Arabia)

• Dr. Fahmi Al-Senani (Saudi Arabia)
