•Improve quality of services and knowledge of care-providers in
regards to primary and secondary stroke prevention.
•Develop and unify the guidelines and protocols for stroke
prevention in a nationwide manner.
•Increase awareness of preventable stroke risk factors and means
of their control among the Saudi population.
•Improve the Saudi population’s knowledge about stroke,
particularly in recognizing the risk symptoms.
Acute Stroke treatment enhancement:
•Improve public awareness about acute stroke treatment and
importance of early recognition of stroke.
•Improve quality of services and knowledge of care providers in
regards to acute stroke therapy.
•Develop and unify the guidelines and protocols for acute stroke
therapy, in a nationwide manner.
Identify Stroke medico-socio-economic impact in Saudi Arabia:
•Through a national stroke registry.
•Help and share in promoting research in the field of stroke.
